At Move Fresh we have temperature controlled warehousing and insulated delivery solutions underpinned by our world class operations and technology.
We asked Harry Bremner, founder at Tuggs, a leading fresh dog food what was important in working with a temperature controlled fulfilment partner.
“The future of fresh dog food – Tuggs is an award-winning dog food startup creating freshly-prepared dog food in a sustainable way. Our meals are gently cooked as you would in your kitchen using fresh, human-grade ingredients before being frozen to lock in nutrition and delivered right to the consumer’s door. No nasty additives or preservatives ever, with our secret super power (insects) providing a sustainable edge to our product. Furthermore, our proprietary algorithm and subscription service lets dog parents enjoy personalised health plans for their companions, with tailored meals that help them hit the ideal weight.
Frozen solution – Tuggs’ unique algorithm means that each dog has its own tailored meal plan, and thus each order is different. We needed a dynamic, custom solution to cater for this. Additionally our meals are all frozen, adding complexity to the logistics operation.
Growth – after launching in late 2022 we began scaling quickly and outgrowing the initial freezer space that we had rented and needed a solution that would allow us to scale and still offer our customers the same quality service.
The team at Move Fresh worked to understand the intricate needs of our business and put solutions in place not only to improve our processes, but also providing us scope to grow. As a start-up with ambitions to grow rapidly it was massively important to have a partner that was willing to work with us on our growth trajectory.
